Coach Declan Mulholland is entering his first season coaching with True Calgary, bringing with him a strong mix of playing and coaching experience. From 2019–2024, he coached with ELEV8 Lacrosse, working with athletes of all ages. He has also coached with Team Alberta Lacrosse, helping guide some of the province’s top players. As a midfielder/defensemen, Declan has competed at high levels in both box and field lacrosse across Canada, the United States, and the U.K. He played Junior B lacrosse with the Shamrocks, Senior B with the Mounties, NCAA lacrosse at Maryville University, and later represented Durham University in England. His experience at every level has given him a deep understanding of the game, both technically and strategically, which he brings into his coaching repertoire. He takes pride in helping players understand the “why” behind the game, fostering both individual growth and team success. His approach emphasizes discipline, teamwork, and creativity which helps athletes reach their potential while instilling a lifelong passion for lacrosse.
