Kyle Playsted joins TRUE Calgary for his first season in 2025 as an assistant coach, bringing an accomplished playing background and a passion for developing the next generation of athletes. A Bellarmine University graduate and Honourable Mention All-American, Playsted has set and broken records at the NCAA D1 level for goals; including all-time goals scored for Bellarmine University and goals scored in the ASUN in a single season. Kyle also competed at the highest levels of Canadian box lacrosse with the Jr. A Mounties, Sr A. Nanaimo Timbermen, and Sr. A Langley Thunder. His playing career is marked by a strong offensive/attack game, leadership on and off the field, and a deep understanding of both field and box lacrosse. Currently an assistant coach with the Jr. A Mounties, Kyle now adds TRUE Calgary to his coaching résumé. Known for a calm, thoughtful approach, Playsted focuses on helping athletes build skills, confidence, and lacrosse IQ.
